Photogs, we are so excited about this new, tell-all boudoir photography guide, a collaboration between BP4U and Emily Caldwell Photography. Incredibly thorough and highly informative, you’ll find this guide is immensely helpful to both new-to-boudoir photographers and seasoned vets.
As you’re probably aware, there’s a definite niche in boudoir photography, and it’s one that can be quite lucrative if you know what you’re doing. With that said, it can be a difficult niche to break into if you’re without skill or knowledge, and honing the craft takes some serious work. This guide is an excellent place to start, or to gain inspiration and further knowledge from a highly talented photographer.
After reading this guide, you’ll feel more assured in your client/photog relationship building skills (so important in boudoir), your posing abilities, marketing endeavors, editing techniques and even lighting and room setups. The best part is that the guide is fascinating from beginning to end – no boring stuff here. We think you’ll especially like the detailed before and after images, which are majorly inspiring.
This 260-page posing guide is not just a look book! It comes with step-by-step posing instructions and even covers facial expressions! See below for more details.

Purchased this product? Leave a review by clicking here and filling out the question field."This guide has given me the confidence to photograph boudoir sessions. Not only did it teach me valuable information for taking boudoir photos, but it also gives great tips that are transferrable with any type of session. I mean, if you can make someone look great naked, then you can make them look great clothed. Emily gives fabulous tips to help make your clients look their best. I'm so excited to put these newfound skills to practice!" -Annie
Are these posing cards printable?
Yes. We include digital files in both high and low resolution - high res for printing and low res for mobile devices. These will print these off as a 4x6. Many of our clients will print these off, punch a hole in them, put a ring on them and put them in their camera bag. Makes a great way to get out of a bind if you're having a brain freeze during a session. Need help loading your posing cards to your iPhone/iPad/iPod? Click here for a tutorial.
Can I print this guide?
Yes, you most certainly can! If you'd prefer to read your guide in print instead of digitally, feel free to print this guide for your own personal use.
I keep getting errors when I try downloading the guides. How can I fix this?
No problem. Try copying/pasting the link into a new tab. If that doesn't work, try using a different internet browser. (I.E. if you're using Internet Explorer try switching to Safari or Google Chrome to download the links)
