I'm relaunching my photography business after a hiatus to raise a family and winning this gift from Adorama would be a terrific boost to continue updating my equipment. There are still many tools needed and Adorama is a great company with a wonderful staff and excellent customer service. I already belong to Rock the Shot and have gotten some great ideas and advice from the forum. Things have changed considerably (going from film to digital) so its great to have a place for discussion.

My business is undeniably in its infancy phase, but the chance to have an adrenaline shot to my future would be incredible. A friend of mine is an immensely talented photographer and inspiration; I would give her $1,000 to use at Adorama. I would use the remainder to get the 7d body I've had my eye on. The free membership to Rock the Shot would be incredible too because it would give me the chance to collaborate and learn from so many other talented people. The workshops offered there are a great chance to take my editorial eye even further. Keeping my fingers crossed!

What could I do with the giveaway winnings? With the Adorama card I could reallocate $$ from my equipment fund to my charity fund and still be able to get some much needed studio lighting. I have started donating sessions to families with children with serious illnesses. I love sharing the joy and tears with them and I would love to be able to do more. Hi Brooke!!! I just wanted to start off saying how awesome this giveaway is! I know who ever wins will be incredibly blessed! This giveaway would mean 2 years of my business I can just fast forward (equipment wise). I am recently married and working full time plus have a part time photography business. In 2012 I would like to make my business a full time job! My husband and I just can't afford for me to go off work and start a business with the equipment I have. I have a goal to save all my extra pennies and buy a higher end camera hopefully a 5d mark 2! Right now I only have a cannon rebel t3. It would honestly be the best present ever. I would be able to put the money I saved from not having to buy the equipment to getting a home studio set up! I know everyone is saying that they would love this. And i believe them all!
