What are some lenses that I can get for my Canon 50mm 1.8?

Question: My awesome husband recently got me a Canon 50mm 1.8 which, of course, I absolutely am in LOVE with. What are other awesome lenses to add to my arsenal? Which lenses are your favorite?

Christy:I like the primes, if you love the 1.8 you'll die for the 1.4!

Megan: I LOVE my Canon 50mm 1.2! I am currently waiting very impatiently for my 24-70 2.8 to arrive any day now!

Reva: 85mm 1.8

Laura: Love my 50 1.2 for newborns but my fav all around is my 70-200 f/2.8L!!!! It makes me swoon!!! Now, if you want to save money, the f/4 version is what I started with and I also swooned over that :). Shameless plug, I am selling my 70-200 f/4L IS USM Lens if anyone is interested!!!!

Tami: Canon 85mm 1.8 is awesome but I really want a 1.2!

Amy: @Laura how much are you selling it for? I doubt I have the money knowing how much they are worth but I want one soooo bad! :)

Abdul: Love my 24-70 2.8 l series always on my canon and the 50mm 1.8 works for me!

Brian: My brother in law just got the 70-200 f/2.8 but I haven't got my grubby little hands on it yet...I don't have the$ for it anyway lol

Marcy: I have an 85 and 50 mm canon but want more coverage as far as more of the picture, if that makes sense, or if I am further away.

Melissa: my husband got me the same lens for xmas too and i love it!n:) but another lens that rocks is the Tamaron 2.8 70-200mm (i think) love taking pics of barrel racing with it!

Heather: I agree with marcy- I am in the market for the same lens, something wide enough to get everyone in the frame.. but I shoot with a canon 7d

Marcy: Heather this is what a friend of mine suggested 17 ~40 ultra wide angle lense

BP4U: for a wide lens have u tried the 24-70/2.8? - i love this lens!

Heather: No, i havent tried that one yet, but im def willing! I may rent to test all of these out before i buy! Marcy- someone else recommended that as well!

Marcy: Heather who do you rent from I have never done that, i think I would love to do that!

Karen: I've used borrow lens to try out several different lens. So far...love the 85 and 35mm the most!
