QOTD from Anna: "Question: Do you have a suggestion for an online backup service to save my photos to? I currently have them on an external hard drive, but am eager to back them up in case of a hard drive failure. There are so many options, I'd appreciate any input or suggestions. Thanks!"
Kathi: I use http://picasa.google.com/. They offer some free storage but if you have a lot of images, you may have to pay extra. It's totally worth it though. You can retrieve your photos very easily.
Nicole: My PC Backup...sign up at my linkwww.moneymakingmama.ws for $6 a month you can back up your files, and any person you refer you can make $150.
Suz: I use https://www.dropbox.com/ or smugmug but u can also use the Mac time machine or cloud
Heather: https://www.dropbox.com/ 100%!!
Julio: A Drobo
Ashley: http://www.backblaze.com/index-j.html?utm_expid=5089566-5! Unlimited backup for $5 a month and it backs up your external too for no extra charge :)
Cate: http://www.backblaze.com/index-j.html?utm_expid=5089566-5 all the way! be warned, it will take a week or two to get the FULL FIRST backup complete, but once it does.. you can backup live real time and be all set each day
Justina: I was just talking to someone about this!
Anna: I so do appreciate all the impute from everyone, and thanks Brooke, for posting my question :)
Gabby: http://www.flickr.com/ is less than $50 for two years and has unlimited storage. You can always download the high resolution files if you need them. You can store video, too. I also use Carbonite to back up my whole computer. Two external hard drives, too.
