Does anyone have tips for Boudoir shoots?

QOTD from Melissa: "I have a question, I'm doing my first Boudoir shoot in the next few weeks for a woman who is getting married in a couple months. We are doing it in her home. Any suggestions for posing, lighting, how to make her comfortable, anything? I am definitely doing my research and getting ideas, but I would appreciate any suggestions at all! Thanks everyone :)"

Wendy: Wine and music helps alot and someone that she trust should be there to help you with the details! Black back drops are great to have on hand!!!

Ashley: Get a mirror to pose yourself in front of. You may have different body types, but there are some poses that look good on all body types. But having a general idea of what flatters your body, you can start to imagine what would flatter her body type. Also, look up Sue Bryce. She is truly amazing... study her work!!

Chris: As states above , make sure there is someone they trust with them . Also helps to go out to dinner with them a few times to build a relationship before you ask them to take their clothes off

Angela: Make sure any pose elongates everything. Make sure you see curves. Don't let arms cover waist curves. Don't let shoulders push up and hide neck etc. As soon as you see a shot on your screen that she looks amazing in, show her and say look how beautiful you are in this shot. Once they see how good they look they always relax.
