ok just finished the last step. I would totally revision my business with this gift card. I would transfer over to canon from Nikon (because I like the video better on canons and I think the photo is just as great). I would finally get some paper backdrops in a different colors (instead of the one I hand painted and made from muslin and oops aisle paint from home depot). I would also finally get a real soft box instead of my interoperation of soft box that I make with both parts of the umbrellas (not professional looking and it leaks light into the frame). I would also finally have a website that I would be proud of!! Oh, and, maybe, just maybe, I would get that 135mm portrait lens I have been lusting after for years now :]

i would love love love to win this. wanting to get the canon 45mm ts-e 2.8 and also the canon 100mm macro 2.8L. i've been dying for the tilt shift, it really defines my photos and i think it gives a creative edge to my wedding and portrait work. i've rented it four or five times and i would love to just own it! i need to step up my game a little, and i think these would be a perfect start.
i also would love the rock the shot forum membership! i enjoy chatting with other photographers for inspiration and to keep my thoughts fresh, and this would be perfect.

This prize would enable me to go full frame. For weddings I need to be shooting full frame but I'm on a 60d crop sensor with a lot of equipment I need to pay off. I just had a newborn on thanksgiving and I had to cut back on work from my csection, if I had this I could charge less and shoot more weddings and be under a better emotional state with the lack of stress worrying about credit card bills.

I am a student at Saint Mary's College, and have loved it. However, with how expensive it is, it really limits how much I can spend to really get my business started. I have loved photography since I was a little girl, and decided to follow my dream of being a photographer. I love people and sharing my talent with them.
