My husband's plant closed in Sept. He had worked there for 32 years. Now being pretty much forced into retirement our income is 1/4 what it was. I believe the Lord has given me the talent to create photographic dreams. I so completely LOVE what I do and even more, I love working with children. I believe that as one door has been closed another has opened. this giveaway prize would mean the world to me! i have just started out —i've been in business for 4 mos. and want nothing more that to become great at what i love. i have been in love with photography for years, but just recently decided to turn it into, what i hope someday, will be a profitable business. i read EVERYTHING i can get my hands on —as long as i can find it for free!! i've got 5 kids and am a stay at home mom, so there isn't much wiggle room for finances. but i know i can be good, and i want the tools to help me get there!!

ooooh my gosh, what COULDN'T these prizes do for my business in 2012?? How much time do you have?
The Adorama money would go straight toward a new camera body… I'm stuck with a "beginner" DSLR that needs an upgrade. I love that little camera but… it's time.
The RTS membership would help with critiques to better my work, the amazing freebies for marketing, networking with incredible photographers. That list could continue forever.
The CMD website would actually make my brand look credible! For now I have a site that very much looks like someone who doesn't know what they are doing put it together (hm, go figure… someone did! Me!)
The combination of the 3 prizes will help me build my business and brand, and potentially be able to go full time shooting weddings and babies in 2012. Bye bye day job? We'll see!

If I won this it would mean as much to me as winning the jackpot lottery! I would buy some equipment and push my comfort zones further in 2012, and feel more confident with better equpiment! Being a new photog my comfort zones are pushed everyday anyway but having a better camera would just inspire me to go all out!

Winning this giveaway would mean the world to me! I'm a full time student and am not taking out any loans or financing to invest in my business and have invested every penny I've been able to save in lenses and my marketing/web presence, but it still hasn't been a ton of money. While I know equipment doesn't make the photographer, a good photographer with high quality equipment can make magic. Plus the learning opportunity from Rock the Shot and a new portfolio site would be amazing <3 I think this would give my business the push it needs to really grow in 2012
